Keeping Shelton Clean
By Community, For Community
Our Mission
The purpose of the Shelton Clean-Up Project is to assist the City of Shelton, Connecticut, with trash pick-up and discard in Shelton neighborhoods on Shelton streets, sidewalks, and municipal owned properties. We want to be engaged partners with Shelton Sanitation and Public Works, but are entirely separate from Shelton Municipal operations and Government. We work to organize community-led clean-ups in efforts to beautify and take pride in our town. Throughout this process, we utilize an all volunteer clean-up force of young people who need community service hours and/or concerned citizens who want to make their town a more desirable place to live, work, and play while building strong relationships with our neighbors.
Get ready for the start of our 2026 season!
